Description:

At Wingard Creative, a project manager should be both lead consultant and project coordinator. As Seth Godin says, you don’t just manage projects, you run them. You are responsible for defining solutions, answering hard questions, and ensuring the overall quality of a project. You’ll also handle tasking, budgeting, and day-to-day communication with clients and internal teams.

In addition, potential Project Managers:

  • Get made fun of by their friends because they’re “too” organized (as if THAT’S possible).
  • Have always been known for being good communicators. They consistently listen, synthesize, write, and speak better than most people.
  • Were born with an awareness of and appreciation for details.
  • Are cool with wearing many hats. They never say “that’s not my job.”

  • Build long-term relationships with clients based on thorough planning, timely and professional communication, and intelligent problem-solving.

  • Love technology and are very web savvy.

Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will also:

  • Understand the basics of print and interactive marketing: file types, best practices, and social media marketing.
  • Have experience with setting and meeting budgets and keeping team members on task.
  • Have experience with HTML, CSS, social media interfaces, and web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics).
  • Have experience with print, advertising, promotions, and PR

Additional Skills:
To be considered, you should exhibit these characteristics and also:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Have a minimum of 2-4 years post-grad experience in a design agency, publication, or interactive agency role.
  • Want to learn new technologies, tackle new challenges, and grow professionally.
