WordPress Workshop: Website Building for the Do-It-Yourselfer

You may have registered for your own WordPress blog.
But do you know how to market it and generate content that draws readers and interaction?

You may have even downloaded a theme.
But have you really made it your own and optimized it for search engines?

Want to learn what’s next?

We’ll teach you several “next steps” during this two-part WordPress Workshop, where you’ll get more familiar with blogging tips and techniques and all the tools WordPress has to offer.

Lunch Program
Our lunch program features guest speaker Michael Loban, Vice President of InfoTrust, a digital marketing and web development agency based in Cincinnati. He’ll give us an overview of WordPress, as well as teach you how to create, manage and promote your blog. We’ll cover content strategies, marketing techniques, case studies and success stories, and address the negative aspects of blogging and how to avoid common pitfalls.

Workshop
Stick with us for a more in-depth “round two” as we learn more intermediate to advanced tricks for customizing your site. You’ll learn about theme customization, search engine optimization, dynamic website development and more. By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a clear strategy for how to build your dream WordPress site.

In this program, you will learn not only how to create a great blog but how to make it great for your readers.
