Calling all ADDY Entries!
The time to throw your hat in the ring for the world’s largest advertising competition is drawing near! The ADDY Competition honors excellence in advertising and is considered a mark of excellence for those involved in the design, advertising and creative fields. The competition starts at the local level (right here in Jacksonville for us) and winners have the opportunity to continue on at regional and national levels.
Both professionals and students are eligible. Entrants should enter online, pack their entries (clear plastic entry envelopes and call for entry cards are available by contacting your ADDY Chair), and deliver their entries to the Jacksonville Fairgrounds on January 12 between 4 and 7 p.m. Mounted work for display at the ADDY Awards Gala is due on February 1. The winners will all be revealed at the “Unmasquerade” 2012 ADDY Awards Gala, held at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens on February 11.
January 12, 2012 (4 to 7 p.m.) — Final Entry Deadline
Final deadline for ADDY entries. You can register and enter anytime between now and January 12. You must bring your physical entries (in the required entry envelope) to the Jacksonville Fairgrounds between 4 and 7 p.m. on January 12.
February 1, 2012 (7 p.m.) — Mounted Entry Deadline
Deadline for mounted ADDY entries. These will appear during the “Unmasquerade” 2012 ADDY Awards Gala and are required with your ADDY entry. Pieces need to be delivered to Brunet-García Advertising (1510 Hendricks Ave.) before 7 p.m. on February 1.
February 11, 2012 (7 to 11 p.m.) — “Unmasquerade” 2012 ADDY Awards Gala
Winners will be announced, and awards presented, at the 2012 ADDY Awards Gala. This festive event will be held at The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens on Saturday, February 11 from 7 to 11 p.m. Mark your calendars!
